IS TRANEXAMIC ACID GOOD FOR ACNE? Although the ingredient doesn’t treat acne, it is useful for post acne concerns such as hyperpigmentation. It also includes Acai Berry and 2% Vitamin C. Not only do these help to brighten complexion, as antioxidants they protect the skin from environmental stressors which can often aggravate acne-prone skin.

HOW LONG DOES TRANEXAMIC AICD TAKE TO WORK ON HYPERPIGMENTATION? Products can take up to six weeks to show full results, due to the time it takes for your skin cells to turnover and the results of any products to reach the surface. Consistency is key, so apply regularly even if you’re not seeing the effects straight away. It can be very tempting to increase use of some products to try and see quicker results, don't overdo it though. More is not necessarily more, and overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity.
HOW DOES THIS DIFFER FROM MANDELIC ACID TREATMENT? Mandelic Acid is an AHA so it works to gently exfoliate and speed up the cell turnover rate in the area you are targeting making it a better option for post inflammation marks such as acne scars. Tranexamic is an amino acid so it helps to treat UV induced marks and reduce pigmentation and dark spots.
