How to use for concerns

KP Bumps: Use up to 2X daily on affected areas to help exfoliate keratin buildup which contributes to rough, bumpy skin.

Ingrown Hairs: Use up to 2X daily when experiencing active ingrown hairs. Once concern has improved, reduce to 1X daily on ingrown hair-prone areas to help unclog blocked pores and remove dead skin cells.

Body Breakouts: Use up to 2X daily on affected areas to help unclog oily pores.

Underarm/Bikini Line Discoloration: Use up to 1X daily on affected areas to support skin surface cell turnover helping to improve the appearance of visible dark patches. For underarms, allow product to absorb for approx. 10-15 minutes before applying deodorant or anti-perspirant. For best results, we recommend applying directly to clean, dry skin in the PM, and applying deodorant or anti-perspirant in the AM. Leave at least 8 hours after hair removal to prevent irritation*. Once concerns improve, reduce usage to 3X per week or as required to help maintain benefits.

Dry, Cracked Heels: Use up to 2X daily. For a more intense treatment; before going to bed, apply a slightly thicker layer and wear socks overnight. May cause barefoot slippage. We recommend wearing socks immediately after application until the product has fully absorbed.

It is recommended that prior to exposure to the sun, users cover areas where AHAs have been applied with sunscreen. Do not apply to irritated or broken skin. After hair removal, leave at least 8 hours before applying the product to prevent irritation.

IS GLYCOLIC ACID SAFE TO USE ON BIKINI LINE AND UNDERARM? Yes, Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick is suitable for up to 1x daily use on the bikini line and underarm areas. If using on the underarms, apply 10-15 minutes before using deodorant/anti-perspirant. For best results, we recommend applying directly to clean, dry skin in the PM, and applying deodorant/anti-perspirant in the AM. For both underarm and bikini line areas, we recommend leaving at least 8 hours after hair removal to prevent irritation. CAN I USE PHA EXFOLIATING AND HYDRATING BODY WATER CREAM WITH THIS? People using Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Stick can absolutely, and should be, using PHA Exfoliating and Hydrating Body Cream as an everyday maintenance product. If applying both, only apply the Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick to concern areas then apply PHA Body Water Cream to all other areas of the body. Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick is a specialist treatment to be used directly on concern areas, whereas PHA Body Water Cream should be used daily to help with overall body skin maintenance. Using both products simultaneously will help to keep stubborn body concerns at bay and increase skin's hydration levels.

WHY DO I NEED TO WEAR SPF AFTER USE? Using exfoliators such as AHA/BHA can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. It is recommended that prior to exposure to the sun, users cover areas where the product has been applied with sunscreen. Do not apply it to irritated or broken skin.

DO I NEED TO RINSE THE PRODUCT OFF MY SKIN? No, Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick has been specifically formulated as a leave on product. It is safe to apply and leave on your skin throughout the day as it works.

CAN I USE THE GLYCOLIC ACID EXFOLIATING BODY STICK ON MY FACE OR NECK? As our Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick has been formulated specifically for body skin- we advise not to use it on your face and neck. For targeted concerns on the face and / or neck we would advise using one of our toners or serums, such as the PHA toner, or Glycolic Acid Toner.
