• Can be used in your AM & PM skincare routine.
• Gently massage a small raspberry-sized amount of Salicylic Acid Cleanser onto dampened face and neck for at least 60 seconds. Add a splash of warm water to emulsify and continue to work into skin then rinse thoroughly.
• Follow with your chosen hydrator, as your first step after cleansing, then apply preferred treatments & moisturizer. 
• Apply SPF as the last step in your AM skincare routine.

  • Not just for your face! You can use Salicylic Acid Cleanser on other blemish-prone areas, including the back and chest area.
  • If you have troublesome, persistent acne or irritated spots, we recommend trying our Acne Solution with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide.
  • For the ultimate cleanse, use with our Reusable Cotton Pads and gently begin to sweep in circular motions. For stubborn eye makeup, hold a damp Reusable Cotton Pad with cleanser on the eyes or eyelashes for an extra 5-10 seconds before wiping away.

IS IT OKAY TO BE USED DAILY, AM AND PM? Yes! it is perfectly fine for daily use AM and PM or at a frequency you prefer.

IS THIS CLEANSER ENOUGH OR DO I NEED TO FOLLOW UP WITH A SEPARATE CLEANSER? This cleanser is perfectly fine on its own as a salicylic acid wash so it does not need a follow up however you can also pair this with another cleanser for a double cleanse. 

HOW CAN I DOUBLE CLEANSE WITH SALICYLIC ACID CLEANSER?  We recommend double cleansing in your PM routine and use our Oat Balm Cleanser as a 1st step which will melt away SPF and makeup. CAN I USE THIS LONG TERM? Yes, Salicylic Acid Cleanser can be used in the AM and PM and on a long term basis.

CAN I USE EXFOLIATING ACIDS AFTER USING SALICYLIC ACID CLEANSER? Although Salicylic Acid Cleanser is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), it is safe to layer it with all types of AHA & BHA exfoliating acids due to the short contact time of the cleanser as this is washed off. 

CAN I USE RETINOLS AFTER USING SALICYLIC ACID CLEANSER IN MY EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE? Yes! Salicylic Acid Cleanser is a gentle, yet effective cleanser that stays on your skin for a short amount of time and then gets completely washed off with water. Therefore, there should have little to no risk of irritation if you are to use Retinol Serum in your evening skincare routine. However we always recommend patch testing! CAN I VITAMIN C AFTER USING SALICYLIC ACID CLEANSER IN MY MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE? Yes! You can layer your usual AM skincare routine, including Vitamin C, after washing your face with Salicylic Acid Cleanser. We always recommending using a broad spectrum SPF daily but when paired with Vitamin C this boosts your morning skincare routine to get all the benefits of protection from sun damage and free radicals.

SHOULD I USE SALICYLIC ACID CLEANSER OR ACNE SOLUTION WITH 5% BENZOYL PEROXIDE? Acne Solution with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide is a specialized treatment that has been formulated for people with troublesome, persistent acne or irritated spots. For mild, occasional acne, we recommend Salicylic Acid Cleanser. We do not recommend Acne Solution with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide if you have sensitive skin, are pregnant or breastfeeding. 

IS SALICYLIC ACID AN AHA OR BHA? It is a BHA.

WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE OF SALICYLIC ACID IN THIS CLEANSER? 2% Salicylic Acid. 

WHAT IS THE PH LEVEL OF THIS PRODUCT? PH LEVEL: 4.5-5.0.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS? Products can take up to six weeks to show full results, due to the time it takes for your skin cells to turnover and the results of any products to reach the surface. Consistency is key, so apply regularly even if you’re not seeing the effects straight away. It can be very tempting to increase use of some products to try and see quicker results, don't overdo it though. More is not necessarily more, and overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity.
