• Use as part of your AM skincare routine. Using 15% Vitamin C & EGF Serum in your AM routine will help you get the most out of its antioxidant properties.
• After cleansing and hydrating with your chosen hydrator, apply a pea-sized amount of 15% Vitamin C + EGF Serum to face and neck and follow with your preferred moisturiser.
• Apply SPF as the last step in your AM skincare routine.
• INKEY Tip;
  • When layering treatments, we suggest working from thinnest to thickest consistency. Waiting a minute or so between applying each treatment will also help to avoid pilling.
  • Avoid using Vitamin C at the same time as Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy Acid products (Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, AHA, Mandelic Acid or Apple Cider Vinegar) or BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acid or C-50 Blemish Treatment). Use Vitamin C in the morning and Retinol OR AHAs/BHAs/PHAs in the evening.

We advise that prior to exposure to sun you use a broad spectrum SPF, immediately and up to 7 days after.

To keep your product working at its best, we recommend storing in a dry, cool place (ideally between 59-77 °F) and keep out of direct sunlight. Avoid direct contact with eyes. External use only. Keep out of reach of children.

• 15% Ascorbyl Glucoside (Vitamin C): A powerful, stable form of Vitamin C which is converted into its active form on the skin to help brighten skin and help improve the visible signs of sun damage, such as hyperpigmentation.
• 1% Epitensive™ (EGF Epidermal Growth Factor): A plant derived peptide, helps to visibly regenerate the skins appearance and improve the feeling of elasticity.

HOW OFTEN CAN I USE 15% VITAMIN C + EGF SERUM? We recommend using this once per day, during your AM routine to take an advantage of full antioxidant properties. We recommend using a broad spectrum SPF in your AM routine if you are using Vitamin C.

CAN I USE VITAMIN C AT NIGHT? Yes you can! It is most beneficial during the day due to the antioxidant properties but you can certainly use it in the PM too if you prefer.

CAN I LAYER 15% VITAMIN C + EGF SERUM WITH OTHER INGREDIENTS? We do not recommend layering this with exfoliating acids (Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid or Apple Cider Vinegar), BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acid or C-50 Blemish Treatment) and Retinols. This is because mixing those ingredients can lead to irritation, so we recommend alternating them. We suggest using Vitamin C in the morning and Retinol OR AHAs in the evening. CAN I LAYER VITAMIN C AND NIACINAMIDE? You can safely layer Niacinamide alongside our 15% Vitamin C + EGF serum because it uses Vitamin C derivative, Ascorbyl Glucoside. We do not, however, recommend mixing pure L-Ascorbic Acid with Niacinamide as this could sensitize your skin and be potentially irritating.

DO I NEED TO WAIT AFTER APPLYING 15% VITAMIN C + EGF SERUM? If you would like to use other skin care products on top, wait around 10 minutes before using them. This gives the skin cells enough time to respond to the EGF and it won't affect the cell rejuvenation process.

I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN, CAN I USE THIS? Yes our 15% Vitamin C is a gentler formula but we still encourage patch testing. Learn more about patch testing >

WHAT IS EGF? Epitensive™ is a plant-derived Epidermal Growth Factor system to support natural elasticity and skin health. It is a signal peptide, stimulating skin cells to regenerate and refresh the dermis and enable rejuvenated skin.

WHAT IS THE PH LEVEL OF THIS PRODUCT? PH LEVEL: 6.8–7.2.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VITAMIN C AND EGF? Vitamin C and EGF Serum can both help to brighten the skin, but work in different ways. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, that not only helps protect against free radical damage resulting in younger skin, but also stimulates multiple skin cell activity including collagen synthesis and stops enzymes that create melanin resulting in refreshed and brighter skin. EGF is a signal peptide, stimulating skin cells to regenerate and refresh the dermis and enable rejuvenated, youthful skin. By pairing both of these ingredients together, our 15% Vitamin C and EGF Serum gives your skin a double hit of cellular activity for brighter, younger skin.

HOW DOES THIS DIFFER FROM YOUR VITAMIN C 30% SERUM? Our 30% Vitamin C is formulated with pure L-Ascorbic Acid in a waterless formula and is recommended for experienced Vitamin C users. Our 15% Vitamin C is much gentler product more suited for beginners and uses a Vitamin C derivative, Ascorbyl Glucoside, with the addition of EGF. 

IS MY 15% VITAMIN C + EGF SERUM SUPPOSED TO HAVE A YELLOW TINT? Yes, our 15% Vitamin C + EGF Serum has a slightly yellow tint and liqht, liquid consistency.

MY 15% VITAMIN C + EGF SERUM HAS CHANGED COLOUR, WHY? The color is due the nature of the natural materials used in the formulation and are therefore prone to oxidation - we can however confirm that this does not negate the efficacy, nor the safety of the product.

WHAT ELSE CAN I USE TO BRIGHTEN MY SKIN? We suggest using Fulvic Acid Cleanser & Symbright Moisturiser to boost your brightening skincare routine.

I'VE HEARD ABOUT CANCER RISK WITH EGF, CAN YOU PLEASE ADVISE? Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) occurs naturally in many tissues in the human body and is involved in wound healing, tissue repair and tooth growth. The amount our 15% Vitamin C + EFG Serum is only a very small addition to that normally present in human tissues and is therefore safe. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?  Products can take up to six weeks to show full results, due to the time it takes for your skin cells to turnover and the results of any products to reach the surface. Consistency is key, so apply regularly even if you’re not seeing the effects straight away. It can be very tempting to increase use of some products to try and see quicker results, don't overdo it though. More is not necessarily more, and overuse can cause irritation and sensitivity.
